Faith No More

After reading the memo from FBI agent Rowley, it is impossible to imagine that the American people will continue to have any faith in the agencies that are tasked with protecting us from terrorism. The truly upsetting thing, however, is that President Bush still does seem to have faith in them. If much more time passes without the administration vigorously backing an independent, non-internal investigation, and without the rolling of a few FBI and CIA heads, then Mr. Bush will have effectively absorbed responsibility for the failures. The American people will turn on him, and it will happen very quickly.

If that happens, not even Ozzy Osbourne can help Bush get a second term.
