Unacceptable Disrespect

I don't normally post to report changes in my blogroll, but the comment thread at LGF on Charles' post announcing Edward Said's death requires note.

Charles Johnson is a lovely fellow, and LGF has often been valuable as a source of news on the Mid-East conflicts, but Charles is also quite capable of turning off comments on a particular post, or at least deleting the more offensive ones. He chose not to and I now choose to remove his site from my blogroll and no longer visit LGF.

I was certainly no fan of Edward Said, but this sort of disrespect for the dead is not acceptable simply because we found his politics so vile.

Shame on you, Charles.
